ACTIVITIES
ABOUT CUB SCOUTS
The Pack
The Cub Scout pack is made up of all the dens, which meet monthly at the pack meeting, led by the Cubmaster. There are games, skits, songs, ceremonies, and presentations of achievements and badges that Cub Scouts earned during that month. This is where families can see the achievements of their Cub Scout.
The Dens
Dens are groups made up of scouts in the same grade. Dens meet a few times a month to work on adventure loops and other tasks required to earn their Rank each school year
The Leadership/Committee
Our Committee is made up of volunteer leaders who help plan, prepare, and run our Den and Pack activities. Parents are invited and encouraged to participate in the Committee regardless of whether it is in a full leadership position or as an event or activity coordinator
Lions (Kindergarten)
Kindergartners work with their Adult Partners to learn about scouting and complete adventures while having fun. Doing hands-on activities for scouts to learn and grow while having a good time with their friends and family.
Tigers (First Grade)
First graders are ready to get going! Tigers do stuff – lots of stuff. The Tigers open up the world to their inquisitive minds.
Wolves (Second Grade)
Second Graders continue to grow and learn while developing their sense of independence. While learning more practical skills they start to learn the basics of leadership and have fun doing it.
Bears (Third Grade):
Third Graders continue their development of leadership and sense of independence. They also learn trade skills working on adventures like Baloo the Builder and earn their Whittling Chip.
Webelos (Fourth Grade):
Fourth Graders hone their leadership skills while also working on increasingly complex tasks while adults take a mentorship role.
Arrow of Light (Fifth Grade):
Fifth Graders focus on their graduation and bridging into a Troop. The Arrow of Light award is one of only two awards that can be worn on the Troop uniform.
