AOL Campout 2026 (Youth)
November 6–8, 2026 | Joshua Tree National Park | Registration Deadline: Friday, October 30th
Join our Arrow of Light Scouts for a weekend of camping, teamwork, and building independence! This outing will introduce Scouts to a Scouts BSA–style camping experience, with adults providing help and guidance as Scouts take a more active role in camp life.
Scouts will work together to set up their own tents, help prepare meals, and assist with camp setup and teardown. It’s an opportunity to practice outdoor skills, share responsibilities, and build confidence as they prepare for the next step in Scouting.
During the campout, we will be doing the requirements for Outdoor Adventurer, which is required to earn the Arrow of Light rank.
Arrival & Meals
You may arrive on Friday, November 6. The official campout program begins with breakfast on Saturday morning. If arriving Saturday, please be at camp by 7:30 AM and plan to eat breakfast with the group.
The following meals will be provided:
- Saturday: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Sunday: Breakfast
Please plan your own meals for Friday.
